my journey

This is where my journey begins. 

As you can see, this is not Michigan. My husband was asked to move to New York City for three months for work. We prayed about it and prayed about it, then decided the move would be good. Well, three months has turned into four. I miss my family and friends, the country, and my home very much, but it has been a great experience for the two of us and we have grown tremendously. We will be returning home next month to start a new journey. We both feel called to ministry so starting next month, my husband will be quitting his job and we will pursue the Lord's will with whatever He sends our way. It is scary, yet peaceful all at once. I know the Lord's hand is upon us and I trust in Him with all my heart. This space will be about all the coming and goings of our growing family and glimpses of things that inspire me through my days.
