My to do list.
Normally I have no idea what to do, but thanks to pinterest I found the perfect "to-do" planner for me!
I've made it my own and can change it as needed! It has helped a lot!
If you'd like to use it too, you can get it here. And If you want to be able to reuse it everyday, here is a really great idea!
As you can see, we didn't run today like I said we would do in my last post, but I did work out. Jonathan ended up walking a few miles to get to and from work, so we decided that was enough for today.
There are two things I really like about living here. One, I get five washers and five dryers to do my laundry with. It's awesome. I can to all of it at once! And, it's in the basement, which is super convenient.
And two, I get to order all my groceries online. :) I pick everything I need on freshdirect's website, from deli lunch meat to paper plates, and they deliver it right to my door in boxes! Everything is very fresh when it arrives and the frozen items are still frozen.
It's going to be weird going back to Michigan and driving to the grocery store. But I'll like it. I will love everything when I get back home...that's how much I miss it. :)
Here is one thing I wasn't too thrilled about. New York City is hard core about recycling. I know people recycle all over the world, even in Michigan, but I was not one of them before moving to New York City. I have to recycle glass, plastic, newspaper, metal, and mixed cardboard. It's nice not having to haul a heavy stinky garbage can to the end of the driveway, but it is a pain trying to separate everything into different garbage bags in our tiny apartment. ...So this is a little bit about what I do on a regular bases. Just like Michigan, but with a twist.
I like that to do chart! and the recycling...yuck. dont get me wrong, i agree with recycling...but...that detailed...i like the freedom of being able to just put it all in a big black garbage bag and tossing it at the end of the road. plain. simple. done. ;)
