This is where I log my food.
It is actually a very cool site. Jonathan and I have been logging what we eat here everyday. All you have to do is create a profile and fill in some info, then they figure out what your calorie range should be. You can log all your food and any exercise you get in for the day. When you are done with your day you can finish and create a report. It is so neat! It also has many other things, like the sparkpeople community, healthy recipes, planners, goal setting, health conditions, and much more!
We aren't doing this because we think we are fat. We just want to maintain a healthy lifestyle and this site helps us keep up on that. Throughout the day I am continually thinking about what I put in my mouth, because I know I'm going to have to log it...and trust me...you feel really bummed when you find out you went over your recommended intake for the day.
God gave us these bodies for a time and we need to take care of them!
2 Corinthians 7:1 says, "Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." And 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." I don't want to contaminate my body with unhealthy foods. I want to do what I can to honor God with my body and part of that starts with having a healthy active lifestyle.
