Visitors. I love them.
And we have had many of them. Jonathan's brother and friend came, his mom and friend came, his cousin and friend came, my mom came, and now my friend came! We are so blessed to have friends and family who love and miss us enough to stop by. :)
My friend Amanda Fink came to visit Jonathan and I in NYC this week. It was so great to have a girlfriend here! We were able to just hang out and make our schedule however we wanted it.
I'm really glad she came.
...(don't mid the date on the pics, the camera time was set wrong)...
I took her to Times Square for some shopping and to the American Museum of Natural History. We ended up buying passes to the butterfly room, which was quite amazing. It was my third time going, but I didn't mind.
We also saw The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway!
I was so excited! Jonathan and I have been to one play since we've moved here, and it wasn't that good, so I'm very happy I was able to have this experience. If you ever get the chance, see this show! It's totally worth the price.
We also went to the top of the empire state building.
The view is amazing!
Here's me trying to look for my apartment. :)
The rest of the week was a mix of things. We did a ton of walking, eating, and redbox-movie watching. It was great. Jonathan also taught us how to play poker. Yes, I said poker.
But, don't worry. We didn't gamble with real money.
Church, Sunday, was fabulous. It was our last service at Times Square Church so I soaked up the whole thing. Every service, since we've been here has been wonderful. The pastors message always seem to hit me where I need it most. God is just so amazing like that. :)
Amanda went home this morning and Jonathan's Aunt and cousin showed up about an hour later. They won't be leaving until Thursday and we'll be home Friday. It all works out so great.
I can't wait to come home!
Glad you guys had a wonderful time! Enjoy your last few days! Can't wait for ya to be home too! :)
